On 1 May, the IOS Press announced that 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease with a milestone issue covering 20 years of Alzheimer’s research. This open access issue is now available online. We are glad to see that a paper entitled “The Rationale Behind the New Alzheimer’s Disease Conceptualization: Lessons Learned During the Last Decades” mentioned EPAD and its sister project AMYPAD. The research team led by Jose Luis Molinuevo from BBRC reviewed how the concept of Alzheimer’s disease has changed over the years as well as discussed the implications of this conceptual change. The article can be downloaded here. Happy 20th birthday to the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease!
Another article published online on 24 April in the journal of Alzheimer’s disease cited AMYPAD. Our AMYPAD project co-lead Gill Farrar is part of the authors. The article entitled “A Systematic Review and Aggregated Analysis on the Impact of Amyloid PET Brain Imaging on the Diagnosis, Diagnostic Confidence, and Management of Patients being Evaluated for Alzheimer’s Disease” can be downloaded here.
