Our AMYPAD project coordinator Frederik Barkhof received a gold medal on Monday 17 May from the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) during the annual meeting of the organisation.
This medal is awarded to recognize a major research contribution to the field of magnetic resonance within the scope of the Society. Frederik Barkhof received this award for his seminal contributions to the understanding of various neurological diseases and conditions using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), including multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease.
