On 16 and 17 June, the Euro-PAD community convened a scientific symposium in Barcelona, hosted by Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC).
During these two days, almost 100 participants gathered to discuss the latest advancements in neuroimaging and biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease, as well as to share updates from the Euro-PAD initiative over the past year.
The event commenced with two workshops focusing on clinical trials in Alzheimer’s disease and blood-based biomarkers, organised by Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona (ACE) and BBRC, respectively. These sessions set the stage for the symposium’s broader discussions.
The opening session of the symposium featured a warm welcome from the organisers, establishing a collaborative atmosphere for the event. An overview of the Euro-PAD community highlighted the significant progress made over the past year. The symposium’s agenda included a series of scientific sessions, providing attendees with opportunities to present their latest research findings. This year, participants were also invited to submit abstracts for poster presentations and short talks, enriching the exchange of ideas.
Throughout the event, delegates engaged in lively discussions and explored potential collaborations. The symposium underscored the Euro-PAD community’s commitment to advancing research in the early detection and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease.
