AMYPAD at #AAIC25

Held in Toronto, Canada, from 27 July to 31 July, 2025, the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) brought together thousands of researchers, clinicians, caregivers and industry professionals to present cutting‑edge advances across basic science, imaging, biomarkers, clinical trials, care strategies and public health perspectives. It is recognised as the largest global meeting dedicated to advancing dementia science and clinical practice.

Several AMYPAD researchers were present to share our recent contributions:

  • Emma Luckett presented a poster titled “Associations between regional amyloid PET and genome‑wide polygenic risk scores in the predementia AMYPAD consortium”
  • Leo Pieperhoff, delivered an oral presentation titled “Capturing Alzheimer’s disease heterogeneity with spatially independent patterns of amyloid accumulation”

Thank you to Emma and Leo for representing AMYPAD at #AAIC25, and thanks also to the organisers for a great event. It was inspiring to meet with collaborators and discuss AMYPAD even beyond the end of its funding period.

As a reminder, AMYPAD data remains accessible to academic researchers, institutions, and companies worldwide. This is shared through secure online Workspaces and you will need to make a formal request to access the imaging, clinical, and biomarker data for scientific research investigation and/or educational activities.
