Dear friends and colleagues,
We are excited to see that AMYPAD remains active well beyond the end of the IMI funding period, continuing to make its mark around the world through several new publications—with more in the pipeline—and presentations at international conferences. It is especially rewarding to see data generated through our studies being used by researchers across the world, further extending the scientific impact of AMYPAD.
Our community has maintained a strong presence at scientific meetings, showcasing AMYPAD findings and fostering collaborations across the field. For those attending the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) in London in the coming days, we hope you will join our presentations and connect with colleagues from across the AMYPAD and Euro-PAD communities.
Over the past months, we have also made great progress in data sharing. A new dataset is now available through the AD Workbench of the Alzheimer’s Disease Data Initiative. This updated AMYPAD dataset includes computed polygenic risk scores from harmonised genotype array data, a comprehensive set of imaging-derived endophenotypes from various MRI processing pipelines and corrections to selected cognition-related scores.
Earlier in May, many of us came together in Genoa for the Euro-PAD Scientific Symposium. It was a fantastic opportunity for scientific exchange, discussion and collaboration, and we thank everyone who contributed to making it such a successful event.
Finally, on behalf of the entire consortium, we would like to warmly congratulate Lyduine on the arrival of her baby. We wish her and her family every happiness as they begin this wonderful new chapter.
We wish you all a pleasant summer and look forward to seeing many of you in London for AAIC.
