The AMYPAD consortium was pleased to be represented at the International Conference on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases and Related Neurological Disorders (AD/PD™ 2026), held from 17–21 March 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark. As one of the leading international meetings in the field of neurodegenerative diseases, the conference brings together researchers, clinicians, and industry experts from around the world to share the latest advances in Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and related disorders, while fostering scientific collaboration.
Federico Masserini delivered an oral presentation entitled “Evaluating myelin-density and perfusion in white-matter hyperintensities and their surroundings.” This work includes data from older adults without dementia from the Euro-PAD cohort, highlighting the value of this unique cohort in advancing our understanding of brain changes.
