AMYPAD features prominently at HAI Conference in Miami

The 12th Human Amyloid Imaging conference (HAI) took place in Miami, Florida, from 17 to 19 January. The event was organised by Keith A. Johnson (Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, US), Bill Klunk (University of Pittsburgh, US), Chet Mathis (University of Pittsburgh, US) and Bill Jagust (University of California, US).

The event was divided in 47 podium presentations and 130 poster presentations. Oral and poster presentations were complemented by two keynote presentations that were recorded:

  • Peter Davies (Northwell Health, US) – “Molecular, temporal and spatial aspects of tau pathology”
  • William Seeley (University of California, US) – “Network-based neurodegeneration”

The conference was a great opportunity for presenting AMYPAD. Three posters focusing on our project were presented:

  • Centiloid validation of multi-atlas PET-SUVR analysis in the multi-tracer AMYPAD study (Elisabetta Grecchi, IXICO)
  • Optimized coffee-break protocol for quantitative [18F]flutemetamol studie (Fiona Heeman, VUmc)
  • Performance of supratentorial white matter reference regions for longitudinal quantification of [18F]flutemetamol PET scans (Gemma Salvadó, BBRC).

If you are curious, you can download the posters on the AMYPAD website.
