AMYPAD presents at AD/PD 2022

The 16th International Conference on Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease and related neurological disorders (AD/PD™) was held on 15-20 March as a hybrid conference, giving the option to attend either virtually, or physically in Barcelona (Spain). The congress gathered 3,365 participants from 66 countries and included 7 plenary speakers, 528 on-site talks, 594 speakers and 839 posters.

It was exciting to reconnect with colleagues and listen to the latest breakthroughs in the Alzheimer’s disease field. The conference was also a great opportunity for presenting AMYPAD as the project was featured in five oral talks:

  • Lyduine Collij (VUmc) “Conversion to amyloid positivity: Predictive value of Global and Regional Centiloid quantification”
  • Luigi Lorenzini (VUmc) “Regional Associations Between White Matter Hyperintensities (WMH) and Amyloid Pathology in Preclinical Alzheimer’s Disease”
  • Mahnaz Shekari (BBRC) “Evaluating the sensitivity of Centiloid quantification to pipeline design”
  • Beatriz E. Padrela (VUmc) “Amyloid burden and vascular risk factors correlate with regional cerebral blood flow in cognitively unimpaired population”.
  • Jori Tomassen (VUmc) “Amyloid, Tau and longitudinal memory decline in cognitively intact older individuals”

If you missed the above presentations, please note that all presentations are available to registered participants on the conference platform.

Mark your agenda for next year! The 17th International Conference on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases and related neurological disorders, AD/PD™ 2023, will be held from March 28 to April 2 in Gothenburg (Sweden).
