AMYPAD presents at AD/PD2023

The AD/PD™ 2023 International Conference on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases and related neurological disorders took place as a Hybrid Conference in the vibrant city of Gothenburg, Sweden, and online from 28 March to 1 April 2023. The groundbreaking series of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases Conferences attract international medical and scientific professionals worldwide. The Conference remains at the forefront of unraveling the mechanisms and improving the treatment of Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and other related neurodegenerative diseases. AD/PD™ Conferences uniquely combine distinct neurodegenerative diseases in one setting and examine their similarities and differences; a strong focus is mechanisms of disease, prevention, and therapy.

This year the congress gathered over 4.000 delegates from 60 countries and included 7 plenary speakers, 673 on-site talks, 346 on-demand talks and 1.100 posters.

It was exciting to discuss with colleagues and listen to the latest breakthroughs in the Alzheimer’s disease field. The conference was also a great opportunity for presenting AMYPAD:

  • Lyduine Collij (VUmc) “Head-To-Head Comparison Between Baseline Semi- And Fully-Quantitative Amyloid-Pet Measures To Predict Changes In Cognition: The AMYPAD PNHS Study”
  • Luigi Lorenzini (VUmc) “Cortical Amyloid Predicts Longitudinal Atrophy In Non Demented Individuals: Results From The AMYPAD Prognostic Study”
  • Sophie E. Mastenbroek (VUmc) “Relationship Between A Continuous Amyloid CSF/PET Discordance Measure With Demographics And Longitudinal Cognition”
  • Emma Luckett (KU Leuven) “Weighted gene co-expression network analysis detects changes in the peripheral blood transcriptome in asymptomatic Alzheimer’s disease”
  • Ariane Bollack (UCL) “A Centiloid window to help predict true amyloid accumulation”

Mark your agenda for next year! The International Conference on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases and related neurological disorders, AD/PD™ 2024, will be held from 5-9 March in Lisbon (Portugal). For more information about the event, please visit: https://adpd2024.kenes.com/
