The 35th Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) was held from 15-19 October 2022 in Barcelona (Spain). It is a world-reference congress in nuclear medicine gathering clinical scientists, technologists, physicians, industry representatives and researchers. With more than 150 sessions, the EANM annual congress is the most valuable Nuclear Medicine Meeting worldwide. Each year, nearly 7,000 participants and 180 companies use the possibility to discuss the newest trends and findings in the field of Nuclear Medicine.
After two years of virtual events, we were happy to attend the EANM event in its onsite format. We were pleased to present three oral talks:
- “The use of amyloid-PET in memory clinic patients: AMYPAD Diagnostic and Patient Management Study”, V. Garibotto (UNIGE)
- “The Centiloid scale applied to 18f-florbetaben and 18f-flutemetamol PET renders comparable estimates of amyloid burden in memory clinic patients”, JD. Gispert (BBRC)
- “Harmonization of Brain PET Images in Multi-Center PET Studies Using Hoffman Phantom Scan”, M. Shekari (BBRC)
In addition, Nuria Roé-Vellvé (Life Molecular Imaging) presenting a poster entitled “Impact of error propagation in the development of the centiloid conversion equation”.
