Michael Schöll from the Wallenberg Centre for Molecular and Translational Medicine at the University of Gothenburg, has been awarded the “Birger Karlsson Science Award” (Birger Karlssons vetenskapspris) by the Royal Society of Arts and Sciences in Gothenburg.
Michael Schöll has been awarded the prize with the following motivation:
Michael Schöll is awarded the Birger Karlssons Science Award 2020 for his innovative and internationally prominent research to develop and evaluate methods based on positron emission tomography in order to visualise molecular pathological changes in brain diseases.
We would like to congratulate Michael who is also the Principal Investigator of the AMYPAD site in Gothenburg.
